So here is a study in colored pencils.. I recently got the keep it real dvd by Keith Ciaramello and cant say enough good things about it, It is packed with info and really inspiring in general.. Keith really covers all of the dynamics from beggining to end and i have to say it was the best 99 dollars i have spent in many years!! I recently have been giving myself a real kick in the ass liturally drawing and painting nonstop and the dvd was another good kick in the pants!! I have been at the tattoo game for 20 years and really never got into doing portraits.. Sure i did some here and there but never really thought, hey portraits are awesome.. I looked at them as being unimaginative and boring, but here is the deal... For me to be as good of an artist as i want to be its time to get off my ass and start doing them... Nuff said.. so here is the first drawing i have ever done in a portrait style.. And of course i have a looooong way to go!!
